Community Centre upgrades

Tash and Dom are an amazing couple who have been working with volunteers to foster community connection with our public open spaces.

Both have full time jobs, but have still managed to set aside time to:

• Support young people in Bomaderry to advocate for what they want to see in their parks,

• Construct Tyá Petterson Dynevor’s design for a youth gathering space where young gather to yarn, tell stories and stay connected to Country,

• Coordinate regular working bees to overhaul the gardens of the Bomaderry CommunityCentre to be more attractive, useful and inviting,

• Coordinate the annual Clean Up events to remove rubbish from our amazing green spaces, and reactivate the lower Mulgen Bushcare Group.

Tash and Dom embody what thriving community looks like and we are so grateful for the time they devote. We share our gratitude with two hardworking, selfless, and often hysterically funny champions of Bomaderry.
